Marine biomes include oceans, coral reefs, and estuaries. Oceans are divided into four zones, each with its own variety of plants and animals. Coral reefs are found in warm shallow water. Along with corals, other specie such as algae, plankton, microorganisms, fish, sea stars, and octopuses are plentiful. Estuaries are the bodies of water where freshwater rivers and streams merge with oceans. Flora in estuaries includes seaweed, algae, and marsh grasses; fauna include waterfowl, worms, and crabs.
