Alligator Bayou: A Louisiana Wetland

Alligator Bayou is a bayou and swamp near my home in Baton Rouge. The habitat is rich with wildlife. Egrets, herons, ibis, several varieties of raptors, and nutria are commonly seen. And, of course, there are alligators. These thumbnails can be clicked for a larger view and a description.
