Location and Land
Deserts range in size from quite large to very small. The biggest Desert is the Sahara. The Sahara Desert is in North Africa at 3,500,000 miles and 9,100,000 km. The smallest is the Mojave Desert in the South western United States at 25,000 miles and 65,000 km.

There are three Deserts in the United States which are the Sonoran Desert, the Mojave Desert and the Chihuahuan Desert. The Sonoran Desert is in the Southwestern Corner of the Unites States in Arizona, California and Mexico. The Chihuahuan Desert is in North Central Mexico and the Southwestern United States. There are many other Deserts around the world such as the Arabian, the Australians, Kalihari, and the Thar.
