Sechura

-

The Sechura Desert is a warm desert that extends over much of the western coast of Peru. Precipitation is meager, at only 6 to 8 inches (150 to 200 mm) annually. The precipitation it receives is mostly in the form of fog. You won't find much vegetation in the Sechura desert; it is mostly a scrub habitat.
