When it comes to hot deserts, the Sahara is known as the hottest region in the world. It covers around 10% of the African continent. However, wildlife like camels, goats, deer, baboons, hyenas, fox, ostrich, and mongoose are abundant in some areas. Plant life consists of grasses, small shrubs, and cactus.
